The Ginger Factory, Yandina

Open every day 9am to 5pm not including Christmas, the Ginger Factory is a great day trip location. If you like ginger, you'll love this place. There is something for everyone and you can join in the fun with a train, a chocolate shop, ginger plants and products made from ginger, souvenirs and tasty ice-creams :)

The Ginger Factory, situated on Pioneer road in Yandina, has not only every ginger thing you can think of but also a Superbee honey shop, boat rides through the Overboard ship, an awesome nature walk and plenty of photo opportunities. It's a bit of a walk if you are traveling by bus (or train) but you can take the 631 from Nambour which runs fairly often to the Factory.

Across the road from the Ginger Factory, you will find Nutworks and the Chocolate Factory which sells all kinds of products made from Macadamia nuts and that chocolatey goodness.
