Peregian Originals, Peregian

Peregian Originals is an open air community event that celebrates original live music and brings the Sunshine Coast community together. These events are held on 1st and 3rd Sundays in the park located between the Peregian Surf Club and the beach.

You can get there by car, walk if you live in the area or bus. The 620 bus goes past the event. To see bus times or plan your journey, you can use the Translink website.

The acts can be from anywhere and you'll get updates on the acts from the Peregian Originals Facebook page. This Sunday, the 19th of February, was great! The acts included Lucas Reynald from France (great voice! Oh la la, he's French :P ), Ann Vriend from Canada (Amazing vocals, piano and a great act!), The Floating Bridges (Rocked our socks! Great vibe) and Valley Floor (Great, such a good vibe) from Australia.

The event is free to all, but lives solely on donations. There is a raffle that usually has hundreds of dollars worth of stuff in it that you can buy tickets for, there is a sausage sizzle and a Noosa Community Radio stand that sells the CD's of the artists. You can also donate at any of these areas.
